Domestic and international engagement
The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) contributes to the domestic and international securities regulatory agenda by working with other securities regulators, government, and law enforcement agencies to protect the interests of investors and the integrity of our markets and promote financial stability by sharing information, co-operating on cross-border enforcement initiatives and developing common standards and guidance.
The OSC works closely with other Canadian securities regulators in an effort to harmonize our legislation and regulatory practices for the benefit of the Ontario and Canadian capital markets. We also work with federal and provincial governments, other organizations and various law enforcement agencies. Learn more about our domestic partnerships.
Domestic Memoranda of Understanding
The OSC has entered into a number of domestic Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with organizations in Ontario and other Canadian jurisdictions.
The OSC contributes to the international securities regulatory agenda by actively participating in international organizations and committees. We also work directly with other regulatory partners. Learn more about our international activities.
International Memoranda of Understanding
The OSC shares information and supports enforcement-related investigations through several international MOUs.
