OSC Staff Notice of Request for Comment – Material Amendments to CDS Rules – New York Link Service Investment Committee – CDS Clearing and Depository Services Inc.

The Ontario Securities Commission is publishing for a 30 day public comment period material amendments to the CDS Rules in connection with a new Investment Committee for CDS’s New York Link service. The proposed rule changes would limit CDS’s liability for decisions made by the NYL Investment Committee. The rule changes would also require that CDS invest NYL Participants’ contributions to the NYL Participant Fund in accordance with the decisions of the NYL Investment Committee. 

The comment period ends on May 2, 2022.
