AMENDMENTS TO RULES 7.4, 10.3 AND 10.7

NOTICE OF COMMISSION APPROVAL

The Ontario Securities Commission has approved amendments to the Universal Market Integrity Rules (UMIR) 7.4, 10.3 and 10.7. In addition, the Alberta Securities Commission, the British Columbia Securities Commission, the Manitoba Securities Commission and the Commission des valeurs mobilieres du Quebec have also approved the amendments. The amendments correct a number of drafting errors and provide clarification to the interpretation of several sections. A copy of the amendments were published for comment on October 11, 2002 at (2002), 25 OSCB 6773. No comments were received. The final version of the amendments is published in Chapter 13 of this Bulletin.
