SOAR's 32nd Annual Virtual Conference 2020 - SOARing in a New Era of Innovation

The Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators’ (SOAR) annual conference will consist of a variety of workshops and presentations relevant to anyone working in the administrative justice sector. Topics that will be discussed include: how justice can be more more accessible, video hearings, and emerging technology and how regulators can adapt.

The OSC’s Secretary to the Commission, Grace Knakowski, will be moderating the conference’s keynote address by the Honourable Mr. Justice Michael Tulloch from the Ontario Court of Appeal.

OSC Staff Carolyn Slon and Amanda Ramkissoon will also be participating in the conference’s final workshop on regulating emerging technologies. The workshop will examine how regulators can protect the public interest without stifling innovation.
