OSC Obtains Court Order Appointing Grant Thornton as Receiver of Juniper Group
TORONTO – As a result of an application by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), the Ontario Superior Court of Justice issued an order on May 18, 2006, appointing Grant Thornton Limited as the Receiver of all assets, undertakings and properties of The Juniper Fund Management Corporation, Juniper Income Fund and Juniper Equity Growth Fund.
The appointment is for a period of 15 days subject to further Order of the Court.
