Date Set for Trial of Former Bre-X Minerals Ltd. Vice Chairman John Bernard Felderhof

TORONTO - The Ontario Court of Justice has set a date for the trial of John Bernard Felderhof, former Vice-Chairman of Bre-X Minerals Ltd. Mr. Felderhof is charged with eight counts of violating Ontario securities laws.

The trial will commence at 10:00 AM on March 13, 2000 in Court room 122 at the Old City Hall, Toronto, Ontario.
