OSC Staff Notice of Request for Comment – Proposed Amendments to Universal Market Integrity Rules Regarding Order Protection – Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC)

On May 7, 2014, the Board of Directors of IIROC approved the publication for comment of proposed amendments to UMIR (“Proposed Amendments”) that are intended to align UMIR with amendments being proposed by the Canadian Securities Administrators to National Instrument 23-101 Trading Rules regarding order protection. The comment period for the Proposed Amendments ends on September 19, 2014.
